Ian Saunders

Ian is an Associate with Time to Talk Ltd and a Partner in Transition Partnerships.  The focus of his work is to help individuals and organisations create and explore new ways of doing things so that they use their capability more effectively. He is especially interested in the development of Leadership and believes that everyone in an organisation needs to act as a leader regardless of their role. His ideal clients are professionals who are open to challenge, are willing to take action and ready to commit to the effort needed to change and develop.  He is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF) and the International Association of Coaches (IAC).

Career highlights

Ian has been a Royal Engineers Officer and the Organisation and Management Development Manager at Rockware Glass, Rover Group and Allied Dunbar. Since 1985 he has been an Organisation and Personal Development Consultant. In 1990 he co-founded Transition Partnerships and he is one of the Partners. He is a visiting tutor at Warwick Manufacturing Group, a part of Warwick University and is a research affiliate at Templeton College Oxford.

Ian has a wide variety of experience that includes both leading and working on major change programmes, having a leading role in a variety of leadership development programmes and coaching individuals and groups in many sectors, settings and circumstances. He likes to bring his, experience, interest in the development of others and enjoyment in their success to his coaching relationships. He lives in the UK and has worked in the USA and Europe.
