Bill Ford

Bill is an Associate Coach with Time to Talk and has been featured in The Times and written a book called “High Energy Habits – the busy person’s guide to more energy without diets or exercise!” which is now available in 5 languages.  He has been coaching since 1995 and sees his role as improving the bottom line by focusing on the people side of the business. As a coach he works at board level, and just below, and has a particular facility in helping his clients to increase their energy and resilience, and to develop advanced communication skills. He has worked successfully to ease the passage of those moving from specialist roles to more general management positions.

He first came across coaching a decade ago when he became a client and experienced the benefits at first hand.  He is convinced that coaching helped him to increase profits for his division by over £5 million. Bill has considerable business experience to complement his coaching expertise. He worked as Marketing Director with Dixons Stores Group, responsible for the marketing of their financial services division and also spent several years working in the United States, in the role of Vice President of Strategic Marketing for an electronics retailer. His earlier career was in advertising and includes working as an account planner with Leagas Delaney, D’Arcy, and Ayer Barker, and also as a market researcher with the British Market Research Bureau.

His clients have included GlaxoSmithKline, HSBC, Disney, Channel 4, BBC, Aon, IPA, The National Grid, Marriott Hotels, Arcadia, Skandia Life, LG Electronics, Ashurst Morris Crisp, Craton Lodge and Knight, BJM Research and Consultancy, SRCG Ltd, Ashton Penney Partnership Ltd. Bill has a degree in psychology, is a Certified Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming, and is a member of the International Coaching Federation.
